For the safety of our clients, we are offering video-conference and telephone-conference appointments. We are not offering in-person appointments at this time unless absolutely necessary.
If you need to drop off documents, please use the mail slot to the right of our front door. Payments can also be dropped off through the mail slot, or you can call us to make a payment over the phone, or pay through our website: www.ashstreetlaw.com. If an invoice was emailed to you, there is a link to pay in the email.
Our office doors are locked and we may be working inside, or we may be working from home. Thus, if you need to come in, please call ahead: (608) 356-2116 or to make sure we are inside. If you arrive without having called ahead, please feel free to rattle the front door or knock on the back door.
Estate planning clients: We have procedures in place to have your wills, trusts, advance directives to physicians, health care powers of attorney, and other documents signed, witnessed, and notarized either at our office or at your home, while remaining at least 6 feet apart.
Bankruptcy clients: Trustee meetings are being conducted by telephone and video-conference only. Do not go to Madison, LaCrosse, etc. for your meeting, as no in-person meetings are being held.
Clients with Wisconsin Circuit Court hearings: Guardianship, probate, and debtor/creditor hearings (such as foreclosure, money judgments, and auto repossessions) will be held by telephone or adjourned through April 30. If you are scheduled to have an in-person hearing before April 30, please contact us for further instructions.
With well wishes,
Nancy & Crystal
